small town moments
Today I locked my keys in my car. Usually not a problem when home and husband are less than 5 minutes away, but alas, I am fending for myself. Luckily the kindest strangers from my Crossfit class came to the rescue. Not only did they drive me to my house to get my spares but took me back to my locked car. I was so pleased with how genuinely helpful they were. And it turns out we are in the same larger circle of friends. Love the small town today!
Concise summary of life as of late.
I think the word that best fits what I am in the mood for is an addition. The lifestyle I have been granted is wonderful and I am thankful. The travel, flexibility and family time is an opportunity that I understand most do not have and I am blessed. Especially blessed to have a supportive other half to work so diligently for us.
I do find myself, however, constantly searching for a little something extra lately. Whether that is a volunteer position, another part time job, or a full time career move, who knows. I’m sure my planning and searching is somewhat in vain as I am aware my plans are never as good as His. Even though patience is not my forte, I am curiously waiting for what is next. And I do not know the answer.
